“I am sorry to tell you this, but this has been my worst nightmare,” Arya Stark, the queen of the Night’s Watch, said to the camera in the season finale of HBO’s “Game of Swords” on Tuesday.
“It has been a terrible nightmare.”
“I am afraid I will not see my brother again,” Aryah said, before she died.
The death of Arya and the death of her brother, Tywin Lannister, also marked the first time that Arya’s father, the King in the North, had died in the books.
In the novels, Tyrell is a descendant of the former Lord of Winterfell and a descendant to House Lannister.
Tywin is not a character in the series, but he was the ruler of the North during the War of Five Kings, which saw the death and destruction of King Robert Baratheon’s family.
“Winterfell is a great place,” Robert told his son Robb, as he and his uncle Rickon Stark rode away from the North to the Riverlands.
“But it is not the home of a family like mine.
There are many ways to be King of Winter.
I have learned many things along the way.
And I have learned from many mistakes.
As I have been called a coward, I must admit that the way I have gone about things has been more treacherous than I thought.”
Arya’s death comes as the HBO series continues its fifth season, and HBO has said that it will be releasing the sixth and final season of the show in 2019.
At the beginning of the season, “Game” revealed that Aryah was killed off during the events of the last book, “The Winds of Winter.”
However, the season has been widely praised for its portrayal of the War on Thrones, and fans have said they are looking forward to seeing the character grow into the character she was in the novels.
